AFC Virtual

Technology Powering the Business of Fashion.

AFC Virtual on ORDRE has been developed in partnership by the Australian Fashion Council and fashion technology company ORDRE to support Australian designers.

The AFC Virtual showrooms will serve as a digital platform for Australian designers presenting seasonal collections to conduct remote showings and facilitate wholesale business virtually.

Designer participation in AFC Virtual on ORDRE open to AFC Members and is by application only. The next edition will run from 1 Sept 2021 to 31 Dec 2021 with a focus on presenting and selling women's, mens and unisex collections to domestic and international retail buyers.

The various costs of content production, virtual showroom uploads, retailer engagement, social and training have been underwritten by the AFC and ORDRE to ensure that designers can participate with subsidised costs as the industry continues to deal with the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative aims to provide a complete digital wholesale solution for emerging designers and established designers.

ORDRE is now offering their ORB360 technology for brands and online retailers to integrate into their own eCommerce platforms in a fast, efficient and cost effective way. This interactive imagery drives online conversions as customers have the ability to explore every detail of the product and make more informed purchasing decisions. ORB360° Interactive Showrooms

Ordre has developed their unique ORB360 technology for brands to enrich their virtual showroom experience and eCommerce platforms. The technology assists buyers and consumers in viewing every aspect of fabrication, construction and all product data.


Established in 2015 with operations in Paris, New York, London, Tokyo and Sydney,’s technology is now being utilised by designers and retailers around the world to navigate these difficult times and reshape their wholesale strategy. On AFC Virtual, a dedicated section of the platform, buyers have access to individual designer virtual showrooms which incorporate product information and a range of digital images and ORB360 videos. Buyers are able to review collections, make selections and place wholesale orders completely online.

Ordre was very well received amongst our wholesale partners & the platform has made their buy easy & secure providing great product info & seamless ordering process. All of our accounts have browsed our virtual showroom, even if we’ve met physically. From a buyer perspective, having the whole collection accessible 24/7 is very helpful when completing the buy or range plan. Our customers found the virtual showroom convenient and an excellent option, with buyers commenting they enjoyed using many aspects such as zoom and the 360 technology.
